Launched in February 2020, Poco X2 was the first smartphone from the company after its spin-off from Xiaomi. The company launched its successor, the Poco X3, later in the same year. Now, the device has emerged in different certification listing. The upcoming phone will have the Poco X3 Pro moniker. In this post, we will be taking a look at all the rumors and leaks surrounding the upcoming Poco X3 Pro.
Poco X3 Pro Rumors Roundup:
Moniker
It is the first time Poco in including a Pro moniker in its X-lineup. Pro moniker exists in the F and M2 lineup in the form of F2 Pro and M2 Pro. The X3 Pro moniker was confirmed by the phone’s FCC listing. Going by the moniker, the Poco X3 Pro will be placed as a bigger sibling to the X3. It will be interesting to see if the Pro model will build upon the Indian version or the Global version of the Poco X3. The global version (or Poco X3 NFC) has NFC support and a smaller battery compared to the Indian variant.
Leaked Features
The phone has a model number M2102J20SG and it has appeared in several other certifications other than FCC. This includes IMDA, EEC, and TUV Rheinland. The information about the specs of the Poco X3 is scarce. However, it will ship with MIUI 12 operating system. The phone will have 4G, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, and dual-SIM configuration. It might even have NFC support as the Poco X3 NFC. Based on the information that is available at the moment, it is safe to assume that the upcoming X3 Pro will not feature a 5G ready chipset.
There is no information regarding the specs and launch date of the X3 Pro. But as with all the Poco smartphones, we can expect Poco X3 to be a competent device with aggressive pricing.
